Professor George Stauth, a German Islamicist visited Zeitoon institute in December 2021 and got to know the activities of this center. Dr. Sana Chavoshian, the senior researcher who graduated from Leipzig University in Germany, accompanied professor Stauthduring his visit.

The rich and academic resources focused on introducing Hussain ibn Ali attracted Professor Stauth’s attention to the special library of Imam Hussain; he also emphasized the necessity of creating a proper platform through which online access to these sources is provided for the people all over the world.

During his visit from Zeitoon institute, this Islamicist got informed about the activities, projects and the perspective of this institute.

It is noteworthy that Professor George Stauthis a German Islamicist and orientalist who did his Ph.D in Giessen University in Philosophy, sociology and Islamology after his graduation from Frankfurt University in English Literature and philosophy.

Some of his greatest academic achievements include managing the first academic chair in Alexandria in Egypt between 1969 to 1971; after that he lectured in different universities in Germany, UK, and Singapore etc. moreover he has won the annual prize of Islam Book in Germany.

Additionally Dr. Sana Chavoshian who accompanied Professor Stauthin this visit, holds a master degree in the field of Cultural Studies from Allameh University in Tehran; she did her Ph.D in Cultural Sociology in Leipzig University in Germany.

This professional researcher has done great amount of research on women studies and she has given speech in different scientific centers all over the world.
